changed it a lot, i'll play as the spirit rit, took the minion bomber out and swapped with a paragon, got splinter weapon in and an earthbind spirit so they stay down after the earthshakers

Lol, it get better every time you post it
The only thing i'd consider to change(but is just personal preference...) is the balance between prots(ER hero+blazing finale and ToF!) and heals(just 5 on last hero and the life steal fron HaO, plus Well and blood bond). There are a lot of resses too.
Still, nice build idea, you should test it just to check that couple of thing that i've noticed...

*Earthbind is pointless. All Warriors should have a Stonefist insignia which increases the KD time to 3 seconds.
*Putting all your spirits up will cost 50e (35e without Earthbind). Spirit Siphon would be good.
*I'm not a fan of Summon Spirits; though I haven't really done much non-farming stuff in HM with my Rit. I'd throw Splinter Weapon in because it's a bit of a waste to be pumping Channeling to 14/16 and not run it. The difference between [email protected] and [email protected] is actually quite significant.
*Why do you run Essence Strike? It only returns a small fraction of the energy provided by Spirit Siphon and the damage is trivial.
*I'd prefer Convert Hexes over Reverse Hex on the ER. The recharge is 2 seconds longer (12 instead of 10) and it costs 5 more energy but it clears all the hexes.
*Given their recharges, I'd switch Shielding Hands and Vigorous Spirit around on the last two bars.

Except for the fact that Infuse turns you into a friggin' aggro magnet. Go test it yourself if ya don't believe me.

ok, dumped the pet idea and earthbind, got 2 dervishes instead, split the spirits over 2 guys, toned the healing down a bit, got splinter weapon on myself, double aegis, gave melee shadow stepping as they just jump right into the fight with it and take most of the aggro, hopefully the knockdowns and deep freeze will keep the bad guys together in the dervs aoe

So? Unless it deep strips or interrupts (in which case I'm standing out of its range to begin with) who is better equipped to tank it?

Hellos again 3rd time I think I've posted a build not 100% sure though this one looks great in terms if heroes can use it but we will only find that out when the 7 thing gets released. But in the mean time I have a friend who is going to test this with me tomorrow he will be taking Xandras build and then running all heroes with the builds as posted I'm going to try and do FoW (HM) it has hexes and conditions and plus its fun so will post my results tomorrow at some point so for now here is the build. please discuss and advice is welcome but I may not listen until I've tested my self and the rit builds are similar to the PVP gwpvx build but there also used by the white mantel in WiK.

Thanks again a mad man with a spear

You think an ER has problems surviving with a bit of aggro? If you lose ER by strips, you're just playing sloppy. Go test it yourself without Burning Speed if ya don't believe me.

@guy posting bars; your ER bar is missing Infuse Health. I wouldn't take Res Signet on anyone in PvE either.

@loopysnoopy; You will only need Sight Beyond Sight in several areas, and that doesn't include FoW. Also think your attributes are a little off on the N/P orders bar. I like the composition though.

@MissMerryweather:
No Great Dwarf Weapon in Physway?!

@Cthon:
Uh... the characters with Prot Bond on them? I'd rather not risk a lucky strip or knockdown, die, then have my team severely lacking in defense for the rest of the fight. Funny, everyone was totally "ZOMGENCHANTSTRIPS" over in the Ele Damage thread, but they aren't a threat if you're running ER?

@HigherMinion:
Read above. Would rather not risk the death and consequently, a likely party wipe.

Again posting on eles, when u don't have one to play......

The difference on the enchant stripping here is the sheer amount of cover enchants and the short recharges/casting times of said enchantments. You can cover with any number of quickcasting, quick recharging enchantments and if they get stripped...they are recharged and able to be reapplied quickly.

Not on a Protective Bond Ele. You have Aura of Restoration and that's about it. Burning Speed if you bring it, but many here seem to be opposed to that. Maybe Spirit Bond if you left Aegis?

So... Aura of Restoration plus one?

Honestly, if you don't think your "situation" can get wrecked quickly with a 1 second Glyph of Swiftness + 1 second Ether Renewal + 1-2 Seconds for covers, I think you need to revisit *your* Ele.

"Let's have the enemy beat on our backline!" has never had any productive results, next to the occasional farm.

Being somewhat new to GW, I can see that I have a LOOOONG way to go before I can remember what all the skill icons are. How do you guys remember them and are there any tips so I can do the same thing?

Back on topic, the source I requested was from back in October which was four or five months ago. Thanks but is there any recent news and is it definite?

3 necros, 3 eles, a VoS/100b warrior, and me, a monk!
...
I don't think I'll have a specific build until it comes out and I can personally mess with it until I'm happy and having fun

You have AoR, PS, Spirit bond, Shield guardian and since were assuming a physical setup maybe even orders. Do you really need anymore covers than that?

Bad answer imo, the real reason why ER Eles are so much less prone to enchant strips is that they can afford to stay out of cast range of the monsters using the enchant strips. They're healers. Offensive Eles have to stay in range to cast their offensive spells.

Of course, implying that you can't Infuse an ally to restore energy because it makes you attract aggro is just plain wrong.

I mostly camp just behind frontline; it's easier to catch them dying when they kite forward or try and backline a caster. All you need is 2-3 cover enchants after ER and you're safe.

@Kaida:
Protective Spirit
Shield Guardian
Spirit Bond
Aura of Restoration
Aegis
Order of Pain
Dark Fury
Dwayna's Sorrow
Life Attunement

^yea, we need burning speed to prevent strips z0mg!

Theories and hypotheses are nice and all, but are ultimately useless if you do not test their veracity.
